Here's an unsolicited reminder to critically think about the age of a reference in your research. Avoid the bias of chronocentrism, that the present is ALWAYS better than the past. Just because an article is old (like from the "1900's") does not inherently affect the quality of the findings.
I use the paid notion but used the free one for years. Great for tracking manuscript progression, databases of presentations and conference notes, and has a publish option to create an accessible web version of any page which is nice for a CV-style page. Obsidian is also nice for notes.
@academic-chatter.bsky.social when doing peer review, do you validate every reference used by the authors?
Hadley Wickham in a white t-shirt and jeans sits on a light-colored couch across from Michael Chow, wearing a dark green shirt and pants, who is seated on an orange pouf. Between them is a white coffee table with books. In the background, there's a dark bar with shelves displaying numerous bottles, a wood-paneled wall, and a black, modern fireplace. Text overlay reads "Hadley Wickham CHIEF SCIENTIST, POSIT".
Ever wonder how the #tidyverse came to be? π€
