These ideas seem pretty in vogue right now, at least from what I've seen. Though the optimism parts are harder to come by so we want our event to be more hopeful in tone.
Shit is shit, but shit is also fertilizer for what the next generation of ideas need. Embrace the decay - change comes from renewal, re-creation, letting go of what came before. Rather than resisting, we should be looking at what can be done differently next time around.

Right now there's a lot of see-sawing going on but the economy is going to reach a point where everything is, including the cost of living. It's a race to see what survives, relative to each other.
