So, I’m in the minority about this, but I actually don’t love the original Evil Dead films. I appreciate them, but I’m very picky about comedy-horror. I prefer Alvarez’ remake and this one 😬

I went to see this opening week and honestly expected it to be bad. To my surprise, I quite liked it. It doesn’t waste any time with the plot, you care about the characters, the gore is squirm worthy, and there is just enough humor for my liking 😌
