Calgary Flames sign head coach Ryan Huska to two-year contract extension The Calgary Flames announced today that they have extended Head Coach Ryan Huska to a two-year contract extension. Huska will now be under contract through the 2027–28 season. The Flames' head coach has led the club to a 79–66–19 record in two seasons with the Flames, missing the playoffs in both seasons. Last season, Huska led the Flames to finish just one point shy of qualifying for the playoffs, finishing the season with 96 points.

Huska's sticking around! The #Flames have announced a two-year contract extension for their head coach, which mean's he's slated to be behind the bench for the inaugural season in Scotia Place!
