2/3 The other day, me and mom were talking about him, and she mentioned his name.

I heard the name Frank, and because I have been so fixated on The Legion and DBD for over a year, I perked up.

1/3 Man, my love for Frank Morrison has actually fixed some deep rooted issues.

My birth dad's name is also Frank, and i used to get deeply uncomfortable hearing the name cuz of what a shitty person he was. I couldn't even hear the name without feeling kinda sick.

I'm just saying: That kind of behavior is a lot of the *reason* that things like responsible tunneling and slugging are *necessary*. Obviously punish the people who do it just to be dicks, but survivors are about to have a frightening amount of power and I'm not looking forward to it.

And of course, it shouldn't be permanentー if the killer wants that effect to be permanent, they should just take the perks. This would just be a failsafe to help prevent the stun-blind-stun-blind-locked in a corner BS that many SWFs like to pull.

Repeated usage of cc on one person would be reduced by a certain amount of seconds, until the player just became fully immune to it for a certain amount of time. Like building up immunity over time. I genuinely think this would solve the issue of bully squads. A temporary enduring+lightborn.

Now, I don't know nothin' about WOW, but he explained it to me pretty well. Apparently, people in the game were CC trained so hard, that sometimes they couldn't act for 45 seconds or more, which is insane. And so, the fix was to reduce the outcome per CC.

My bf and I were bouncing around some ideas about this, and how to potentially address those issues in a way that would be fair for everyone, and I think we actually landed on something pretty solid:

I'm pretty hyped for the new anti-slug and anti-tunnel mechanics in #dbd. But i really do hope that, alongside those issues, bhvr will also address the problem of the Bully Squads. Y'know, the ones where every survivor gangs up on a killer, chain stunning and blinding, until a killer can only dc.

Forgive me if I'm standoffish if you describe yourself as being someone who enjoys debate. 98% of the Debate People I have met are actually "I want to back you into a corner and make you explain why you have the right to live, and then tell you that you're wrong anyway" people.

This is one of my favorite games and I want to see it flourish. A little dev bullying here and there can help lead to that.

But I also don't want to see them become so hopeless that they just give up on it entirely. And from what I'm seeing from the community, I fear that's a possibility.

I understand and agree with the outrage surrounding Behaviour right now. Accountability needs to be held for their laziness.

However, overwhelming negativity runs the chances of them cutting their losses and shutting everything down. We need to choose our words carefully moving forward.
