Hopefully! I've given myself a couple of weeks to edit it but honestly my hands were quite full with guiding my blind friend and supporting her at her business event that most of the footage i took was from the back of taxis
Had a little potter around the shops and did some junk journalling and I am starting to feel recovered after my trip to Hamburg
I should have said, I am off to Hamburg, to act as a sighted guide for my blind friend who is testing some accessible plane seat tech at the airline interiors expo there. So i probably won't get to see *much* there.
I'll be seeing all the stuff for the expensive seats when I have just flown there economy ๐
If I can just shake the feeling that I have somehow accidentally packed a kilo of cocaine I wasn't aware I owned, I'll be grand
Hamburg! But I think i will mostly be seeing the inside of the airline interiors expo there, where my friend is working
I am off to Hamburg, though I am not sure how much of it I will get to see, because I am acting as a sighted guide for my friend who is working at the Airline Interiors Expo there. Hope I will see some tho!
I'm going with a friend who travels often, and she is blind so we will have passenger assistance and priority boarding and stuff. There's literally nothing to worry about. And yet.
Tomorrow I am leaving the uk for the first time since 1999 and even though I know everything will be perfectly fine, I still feel super nervous
You can start them indoors if you're worried. Seeds will probably be fine in a frost though, just take longer to germinate. They're pretty hardy. Baby plants wouldn't like it though, if you have started them indoors already.
Book advert showing the three books from The Summer Realm Trilogy: Agents of Secrets & Lies in the centre, depicting a grey parrot with red tail feathers flying across snow-topped mountains; on the left half showing, Savage Invasion, which depicts a Cockatrice (a cross between a dragon and a rooster) standing on a black precipice; on the right half showing, Battle of Wind & Fire, depicting a golden bird in flight with beak open, against a sunset by a desert ruin. All three written by Michael Wombat, Miranda Kate, Lisa Shambrook & Victoria Pearson.
All three of The Summer Realm books are now available!

Amazing what you can gather the confidence to do if you know you'll only get 10 views ๐
I'm so glad you liked it! I'm reading from Savage Invasion next week too
What a beautiful world the four of us made @purplequeenpub.bsky.social @lisashambrook.bsky.social #GNUWombie

I have had a very busy start to 2026. Might have to actually schedule some do nothing time soon.
A long while ago he sent me a message just saying "test" so I asked if I passed and he said he was playing with a scheduling thingy. He didnt share how to do it tho!
What's the perfect gif for your Bluesky persona?

It has literally taken me over a week to recover from my trip to Manchester, but I would absolutely go again.

The other day I read a chapter from Agents of Secrets and Lies, book 1 of the #SummerRealm trilogy, on youtube. Why not grab a cuppa and a blanket and have a listen? ๐

My plan for today (my day off): little walk in the sunshine, then carry on my knitting project.
what I actually did: dismantled and disposed of 2 wardrobes (one double), helped daughter rearrange her furniture, stacked all the scrap wood up neatly and hoovered after.

I've got one or two bits from places that do free returns. At least I don't have to try it on in a public place!
Milton Keynes.
I've not heard of Weird Fish, I will look them up
Oooh I dont even know where there is a Marks now. I went to a shopping centre today but it was all primark, new look, H&M etc. Very cool 90s teen gear but no grown up clothes. So i went to the big asda instead but they were all a little too grown up.
I tend to live in comfy leggings and oversized hoodies but I have a few places to go lined up where i need to resemble a reasonably respectable adult, and everything I try feels like a costume
I've seen some nice things online but I'm never sure what size I am, and I'm funny about the feel of some fabrics so prefer to be able to touch stuff. I'll have to see what places do free returns i guess
