Dale Vince expresses interest in acquiring The Observer Green energy tycoon to look at buying Sunday newspaper and holding it in a trust if agreed sale to Tortoise falls through

We’ve already got too many right-wing media barons (often tax exiles) controlling what people read and hear and ultimately believe.

Out of that concern I’ve expressed an interest in the sale of the Observer and discussed the situation with the GMG.

Tesco made £2.9bn operating profit for the 2024/25 financial year. The employers NI increase will cost them C. 250 million per year leaving them with a paltry £2.65bn profit! Yet they complain to the treasury — Who should pay a bit more to keep your work force healthy then Tesco?

And THAT is exactly how people with a huge sense of entitlement regularly behave when they get caught out.
