So the AI digitised 1926 census missed my Great Granddad, and replaced him with some imagined person. There needs to be a way to file corrections with the national archive.

Militant action by the racists who chased you off with your tail between your legs has won. What a take from the useful idiots so addicted to being anti establishment, they'll back a facist take over of the government. Contrarians numpties.
Support protesters who've turned their nose up at a half billion handout from our taxes? Jog on. The reason PBP will never be in power is because being anti-establishment is all they have. Their whole thing is being pro-anti. Contrarianism as a political stance. Deeply unserious people. ##speirgorm
A reminder that James Geoghegan has been the subject of Revenue judgments of more than €500,000. Also a reminder that we shouldn't be giving a far right, transphobic person a platform and instead try listen to farmers who were truly protesting without a FR agenda.

Half a billion in handouts from the public purse and they're still not happy, this was never an affordability protest, it was a shakedown, and the government caved. #speirgorm
Lads, when I wrote the other day that what we are witnessing in the country was a laundering of legitimate grievance, theft and ransom, I wasn’t messing about.
We’ve got Irish MAGA on the streets and we need to have a clear view of how to dismantle it - and quickly.
#FuelFascists
They interfered with people's access to healthcare, harassed muslim aid workers feeding the homeless, and exacerbated a fuel crisis. Dignified compliance me hole.
Didn’t take long for the ‘farmers’ to reveal themselves. #SpéirGorm
Great in-depth piece here!
"Ireland’s far-right movement has enmeshed itself with the protests from the start, a ploy which softened the ground for international figures like Tommy Robinson to spread their own narratives online from afar."

I'm so tired
The fuel protests in Ireland are a Trojan Horse that aim to bring fascism to Ireland. We are witnessing the birth of an Irish version MAGA. The more you look, the more obvious it is that many of the key spokesmen (and they are all men) are dangerous anti-immigrant far right agitators.Wake up.
You can't protest alongside racists and far-right activists without getting that stink on you. They're not really on the side of the people, they're on the side of the people they deem worthy, and that's a very small group.
They're blocking fucking medicine?? #spéirghorm #spéirgorm
Last response. I'm part of plenty of communities, organised a few. I'm not giving details. I have experience banishing people for misogyny & harassment. Not putting anything on you, you spent today arguing not to judge people for the company they keep. That's one of the best reasons to judge people
Fine let's try again, any community that sees accepting fascists as a necessary evil, is no community I want to be part of. If you can't make a stand without the help of facists, maybe ask yourself why fascists are the only people helping you make a stand.
I'm in my 40s and have plenty of discussions and arguments with people in real life about this, I just don't see the purpose in appeasing facists.
Well then next time maybe send the fascists packing, rather than accepting their support. Otherwise, have fun owning the Nazi Bar.

If you're at a protest and people with red armbands start hijacking it you have 3 options: 1. Leave 2. Send them packing. 3. Stay and be counted amongst the people who attended a Nazi rally.
Must be nice not to have anyone worried about missing medical appointments, unfortunately the people I was sharing the day oncology waiting room with on Thursday didn't have that luxury.
No one who played the Irish edition of Monopoly is surprised by this
I know, they'll probably just tape a bunch of cats together.
Thanks Sarah, you too.
Brain cancer patient, mine is a grade 2, treatable but not curable. They haven't described it in terms of stage, but it hasn't left my brain yet. Survivability for mine is often measured in decades rather than years.
In Ireland we've always found "Yank(s)" to be a suitable term for US Americans
A moose once bit my sister.
If it makes you feel any better, with the exception of v and f sounds, I've found Hangul quite good at representing Irish phonetics, better than the English/roman Alphabet at times. As an example: 언 욀 갿아큼 액 들거 디 언 래흐리쓰
