Thanks Akankshi :)
Really generous package, I'm happy to discuss opportunities and clarify doubts :) Dresden is a great place to live, and scientifically amazing!
Thanks a lot :)

Thanks Natalie!!! :)
Thank you Andre :)
Thank you Pavel!!! :)
Thank you Joaquin!!
This was a wonderful collaboration at the interface of physics and biology with the lab of Frank Jülicher @mpipks.bsky.social :) We are grateful to our funders and all the facilities at @mpi-cbg.de and @poldresden.bsky.social
But how do cells relay the electrical signal to trigger proliferation? it's all about a Voltage Sensing Phosphatase! This protein changes conformation upon membrane depolarization effectively bridging timescales, and coupling electric and biochemical signals in the cell.
Briefly, after organ injury, 100 milliseconds, we detected collective changes in membrane potential at the tissue level. This is so far the earliest detected wound-response!! This electric signal sparks the formation of a tissue-wide calcium wave👇
New paper alert!🤩Super proud that our story led by superstar postdocs @liujinghui.bsky.social and @nerlielisa.bsky.social is finally out! We found how electrical signals are key for promoting organ regenerative growth!!! A thread 🧵https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.aec0687

This is super cool Yamuna! Big congrats!!! We see pH gradients too inside iridosomes (a type of LRO)! People told me 'not possible' over and over for the reason above. Time to measure accurately and rethink ❤️
zSwim, the zebrafish lab management software we’ve been developing is now officially listed in Duke OT&C’s technology portfolio! We’re launching an official Duke pilot in March 2026 at the new Ze-Core facility! If you’re in the zebrafish community, check it out!
