Graphic showing the names of four of the Sages from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The Sage of Fire, Agraston, derives his name from 'Acasta Gneiss', a rock that contains the oldest known earth crust. The Sage of Water, Qia, derives her name from 'Myllokunmingia', one of the oldest vertebrates. The Sage of Lightning, Ardi, derives her name from 'Ardi', one of the earliest human-like specimens dating back 4.4 million years. The Sage of Wind, Raphica, derives his name from 'Archaeopteryx Lithographica', a late Jurrasic ancestor of birds.
The names of the ancient Sages from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment are all derived from ancient subjects.
Agraston - from Acasta Gneiss
Qia - from Myllokunmingia
Ardi - from, well, Ardi
Raphica - from Archaeopteryx lithographica

I found out about this series of yours now, and it feels like the modern-internet-culture equivalent of the stuff you'd find in MAD Magazine, down to the ridiculous but somehow fitting names. There’s a knack for this certain kind of satire in common

Wow this is exactly the same as Calamity Ganon in BotW, they even used the same word 怨念 which is what Malice is called in Japanese (literally "resentment"/"deep-seated grudge")

Also, it’s basically already unusable due to 80% of the screen being ads lol. The problem is moreso people not knowing better than to use Fandom, and that they dominate search results so people just click the first one.

This has happened on other wikis, but generally it will get reverted, you'll get banned, and Fandom will just have more ammo to blame the independent wiki with.
That said, a lot of their newer articles are already rife with slop due to the remaining userbase being undedicated passerby, i.e. children

It's an iffy subject because it's Nintendo's IP. However, a lot of the stolen images were captures of models painstakingly set up by our users, so there might be more to that than just a screenshot of a cutscene.

Screenshot of Fandom with several images taken without credit from Zelda Wiki.
Please stop using Fandom.
It's a lot of work for us to gather high-quality images but admins on Fandom have been taking our content without any attribution, and we've been ignored when we reached out to them about this.
Fandom also prohibits linking to us so we cannot be properly sourced anyway.

Grainy, black and white photo showing two long-haired cats. When is inside of a basket that’s turned on its side. The other is sitting on top of the basket. Text at the bottom reads “the alarm”. Very small text in the lower left corner reads copyright 1902 Albee Bertrand.
The Alarm. Postcard from my collection. Copyright 1902, unsent.

Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free & Borrowable Texts, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine
Given certain events that occurred today in the gaming journalism world, I was looking for any trace of this video, but they’ve nuked it even from archive.org unfortunately. It’s BS and clearly abuse of the DMCA to prevent criticism

Stop titling your YouTube Mod showcase "SOMEBODY PUT [Mod] INTO [Game]" It is my biggest pet peeve on the entire website. "Somebody" didn't do anything. A person did. Name them, or don't imply they're some faceless entity. "THEY RANDOMIZED ZELDA!?" "THEY PUT GOLD LYNELS IN TOTK?" Who?? Who did this?

I was going to say the same thing. Nintendo is oddly obscurant with their composer credits aside from some CD releases. They did the same thing in Smash Bros and the Mario movie. It’s a shame because not only do the composers deserve credit, but it’s really neat to see what they’ve done across games
