FMA is obvious, a sleeper inspo since I didn't start actually studying it until I started the comic.

Rebecca Sugar's sketch/concept work was a HUGE inspo for me as i worked on BS. Their work really helped me get loose with my own sketching

Both Jon Gray and Shigekatsu Ihara work are huge inspirations, but I can easily say the artwork from both franchises are the main inspirations in my art style.

I find it very amusing a lot of my influences are toon-like but I keep to a more realistic anime style

Controversial comic opinion but: you should make that comic even if it's your big idea one first. Because if that's what gets you to start making comics, good.
There's nothing wrong with not finishing it either if it's too much work, you can just stop! It doesn't have to be perfect.

I still have DND experiences I groan and roll my eyes over as well as realizing things that were happening that hasn't clicked until now.

How people host/attend normal DND sessions is beyond me at this point.
