We are grateful for the work that Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center and the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project does in our own community to support our children, offer resources, advocate on their behalf and ensure that they have a chance to be a kid again.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Together, we need to continue raising awareness about child abuse and neglect to help prevent it from occurring and ensuring our children are safe.
With the current cost of utility expenses as well as food and housing, Pennsylvanians should not pay the price for federal situations and corporate problems that they did not create.
Governor Shapiro announced today that PECO has decided to withdraw its request. Thank you to every constituent and resident of southeastern PA who voiced their strong opposition to a potential rate increase.
I'm grateful to my Montgomery County colleagues who joined me in responding immediately to PECO's request to increase rates, and to the members of the southeast delegation who we joined to send a letter to the PUC telling them that PECO request for that increase should not be permitted.
To register for this event, please call my district office at 484-200-8263 or visit this link: bit.ly/2026SeniorFair

The site is open for guided tours, as well as educational resources, workshops and cooking demonstrations! And thank you to photographers from Montgomery County for the photos!
Speaker Muhlenberg and his family’s history is intertwined with the story of our nation, our Founding Fathers and our own community. The Speaker's House will also be highlighted in America 250’s festivities as we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday.
Located in Trappe Borough, the Speaker’s House is one of our unique historic sites in Montgomery County and was the home of the first Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Frederick Muhlenberg.
I was happy to join staff from Historic Trappe, fellow local officials and community members in celebrating this milestone.
Saturday was a beautiful day to officially open the Speaker's House at Historic Trappe! It was amazing to see the progress of this restoration and return the house to its original design.
Today and every day, may we make the solemn pledge to declare #NeverAgain
Today on Holocaust Remembrance Day, I share these somber images from an exhibit in Harrisburg, PA hosted by the organization Hate Ends Now. I was moved to reflect on the horrors of the Holocaust and the millions of individual lives destroyed through politicized hatred and bigotry.
The legislative action taking place in the PA House will move over to the Senate next. Reach out to your state Senator and encourage them to keep the needs of Pennsylvanians in the forefront of their work!
This isn’t solvable through one bill, we need a body of laws to keep data centers in check and protect Pennsylvanians.
In Pennsylvania, we need to ensure accountability for data centers and make sure there are guardrails to prevent impacts on water availability, water quality, and energy costs.
Data Centers cause an immediate impact on communities, from water usage amounts and possible pollutants to the amount of electricity they require to operate.
