The problem is you got parents who cave into their kids to allow them on the internet to begin with then with how addictive the majority of the sites are they end up allowing their children to be raised on the internet.

It went from bad to worse from 2000s to 2010s and present.

I don't think OP of video was that tactful in how he delivered the video w/o a grandstanding opinion but given the artist posted work on Newgrounds I think that insight is necessary.

I've been on the internet for way longer than 2016 amd this isn't anything new.

There are worse things out there to be bothered by. You don't have to agree with what an artist does but word of mouth is still advertising.

If you've been drawing for 5 years and think that you're good at drawing without the fundamentals to back it, you got a problem.

An artist who draws for 2 years will know they are either a beginner or hobbyist. An artist who draws for 10 years knows that the ammount of time alone doesn't mean jack shit without learning the skills to back it.

Of course Tim Sweeney wpuld be ingnorant to the struggles of his employees.

A man who cares more for the profit ideally has no business being CEO imho.

It's been long overdue that Google and Meta got what was coming to them.

Their algorithms have always been designed to keep you watching whatever it thinks it wants to show you. While there are deeper problems with how sites like Youtube, Facebook and Instagram this is a step in the right path.

Maybe its because I've been on the internet long enough before Social Media took over the internet, but I find the whole dynamic with corporate censorship odd given that everyone seems to be gung-ho about making things more kid friendly.

That really should be the parent's job, not the corporations.

If it was selective outlining I wouldn't have minded but without is better.

Hey Everyone.

I am going to be putting the streams on hiatus temporarily due to personal reasons I need to sort out and to give myself some time to re-organize how I go about streaming. Things just have not been working out as I had hoped and for now, I just need to focus my energy on other things.

The bands who performed went about it the right way.

I have other more nuanced thoughts on how to do a protest but in short if people are true to their principles they shouldn't be trying to hide it. I'm glad that Dropkick Murphys, Haywire and The Aggrolites are being sincere.
