There was one restaurant in town that had a system set up to tip, but they would line it out so you couldn't add anything (until they updated to remove that option). It was pretty much an FU to tipping

Yeah. baby! I remember when I did that. So satisfying
It was awesome from start to finish
I seriously try to drive in a manner that doesn't endanger people around me, but that doesn't always hold
Insanity, since study after study shows that bike/mobility lanes increase business to everyone on that street
And of course the fact that I have no prep skills, so prepping anything for cooking takes forever. If someone says, "it's just 30 mins" that means at least an hour for me
True, that's all the stuff I have all the time, but it's just how to "throw them together" that I need help with. I have certain things that I can just make, but it's pretty limited since I never learned what goes with what. And if I have a recipe, it has a bunch of stuff that I don't have
I don't argue that if you've planned it out and have the ingredients on hand at the time, you can just do whatever (if you know what goes together). But I can't just stock random ingredients all the time. And 20 mins + 5 min wash is laughable to me since just prep always takes longer than 20 mins
I have a couple of spots on my normal commute where right on red is objectively dangerous. Even for those that are marked "No right on red" people go insane with rage if you don't blindly go into the path of oncoming traffic
People will be like, "it's easy, just throw something together" and show something that has like 45 ingredients that take 15 minutes each to prepare. How do you have all that lying around on a random day, and how do you have the time to do that?
I can appreciate that, but how do you keep it on the cracker?
For some reason, the sound of a cat biting into a cardboard box is so satisfying
"Cheaper for the community" is no match for "we must punish those who are less deserving" sadly
Women's fashion does seem to have more flexibility, but "menswear guy" (dieworkwear) has opened my eyes to more possibilities, and also explaining why things look better than others
And Ewoks died during that battle!
Unrelated to all this discussion, I think the first movie I saw in a theater was Return of the Jedi. Having my first exposure to Star Wars being the Ewoks, I've never thought they were super serious movies
Dang, seeing all these Mara name posts makes me want to name a cat Mara, if I ever get another cat
Can't see the blocked post (thank you for that), but you're right. Made for kids, but as adults we can get the jokes that went over our heads as kids, we feel the emotion more than we did as kids, but we can still enjoy the thrill of seeing it like we are kids
I like to imagine the time lapse is real time
Not only that, but it's seemingly different behavior every time you click
The first holiday we get at work is Memorial Day
Was waiting for you to show up here
And both in cat shirts? Perfect
Yikes, since they were very rapey

@elakdawalla.bsky.social Fluffed up, and I realized I had it backwards in the last pic
Frank, not only have you given us so much over the years, but you're truly a good person. And also now, Billy content? ๐ฅฐ
@bunheadwhat.bsky.social :-P
Shapes? Like, triangles and circles?
Last week I had to take the 405 from the south bay to the 118. It was worse than I've ever seen it
