Match 45 of 25/26 - Charlton Athletic (H)
The much anticipated first home win didn't arrive but the team played well enough and for most of the game it was enjoyable to watch.
Up those three match unbeaten Owls ππ¦ #swfc

Match 44 of 25/26 - Coventry City (A)
One of the best performances of the season, and a point the least we deserved.
Coventry have suffered like us, & I don't get the antipathy between fans due to a few idiots; I hope they enjoy the Premier next year, but today it was nice to spoil the party. #swfc

Another decent day watching the Owls. ππ¦
Firstly a meet up with the @twwcast.bsky.social group for the final TWW run walk challenge with a pitch side visit and a final walk together around Hillsborough park.
Then we somehow got a draw against #LCFC
#SWFC
That looks scary; glad you're ok now
Happy Easter!
Thank you!
Thank you. We were singing "Wednesday are massive everywhere we go"
It was started a few weeks ago to drone out Derby singing "Wednesday get battered everywhere they go".
Match 42 of 25/26 - Stoke City (A)
Another defeat but a good Good Friday.
Defensively poor in the first half, but did well in the second half; their keeper pulled off a couple of good saves, and their defense threw themselves into numerous blocks.
Fans absolutely class again.
Happy Easter!π° ππ¦ #swfc
Congratulations John! π₯³
If it's right for you, I hope you get it. π€
ππ
Thank you.
No-one knows what owners are going to be like until they're in situ, but they're making the right noises, so fingers crossed
Good luck!
I'm a SWFC fan, & would take a derby 0-0 every time. You can't explain the level of nerves and pure fear of defeat to a non-football fan.
In honesty I've always been more of a β₯οΈπ€ fan but today I'm hoping for π€π€ win to cheer up my NUFC boss who's 6 wks in hospital & I'm visiting later.
Match 41 of 25/26 - Hull City (A)
It's strange given the results but that was another enjoyable away day and we got to celebrate a goal again! π
Fans were absolute class.
"Wednesday are massive every we go" πΆ #swfc
Match 40 of 25/26 - Ipswich Town (H)
A familiar disappointment eventually.
Was expecting a heavy loss, but we stayed in the game and frustrated Ipswich until conceding late on when tired, which has happened so regularly this year.
The relief from Ipswich after the first goal was palpable. #swfc
Match 39 of 25/26 - Watford (H)
We rode our luck before half time and with more clinical finishing from Watford could've been 4-0 down, but we were minutes away from our first home win of the season.
Showed great fight in the second half, and with a bit of luck would've won it.
Ref appalling! #swfc
Match 38 of 25/26 - Derby County (A)
A loss, but a decent performance.
Amazing atmosphere in the away end; non-stop singing.
Derby fans really quiet once they realised the 'party dying' chant was being met with indifference. Nice to know we've lived rent free in their heads for 5 years thoughπ€£ #swfc
Match 37 of 25/26 - Southampton (H)
Another inevitable loss, but we celebrated a goal π, and put in a battling performance in the second half.
Fans were also really positive; maybe the confirmed relegation has deterred a few of the moaners, and we're left with the supportive hardcore again.
#swfc
If this season at Hillsborough was a boxing match, it would have been stopped long ago. These fans, though, refuse to throw in the towel.
On the road with Sheffield Wednesday, as The Athletic joined 1,200 loyal #SWFC fans at Norwich for yet another defeat.

Match 36 of 25/26 - Norwich City (A)
At 2-0 I feared a rout. Few chances created, but looked defensively more solid after HT, & good games for Emery and Ndala.
Always enjoy a trip to Carrow Road; a nice stadium with a good fanbase, who've always been generous in their support to Wednesdayites #swfc
They gave it a right good go in the second half and had United panicking. That's all you can ask for
Match 35 of 25/26 - Sheffield United (A)
Was dreading going and getting battered; but after a shaky start, we did ok, and great to celebrate a goal. π
Relegation confirmed but we've known that for months.
Blades can say what they like but our Owlets had them panicking in the second half ππ¦ #swfc
Great photo of Laz.
I caught him framed in a window in a less impressive photo a few years ago (he had gone out for a cigarette at The National Running show)

Repost for a chance of winning a 4x6 print. Iβll select 40 at random to celebrate the 40th edition of the Barkley Marathons.

Sounds amazing but a bit far to travel for a 15k for me, even if the medal is beautiful π€£ Maybe if I win the lottery!

Which race is that? It's a beautiful medal π
So that's it. Time for bed in the knowledge that there's going to be no Barkley finisher again this year. I hope to wake up to the news that @ultradamo.bsky.social has successfully completed a fun run. π€#BM100
At least SΓ©bastien, and to a lesser extent Damo, will be acclimatised to the cold having endured The Spine last month π₯Ά
