The lesson? If you have kids or if you’re a teacher, help young people learn this vital skill. Teach them to ask who’s giving them info and how credible that source is.
Our country would be in a much better place right now if more people possessed this skill.

My take after 30+ years teaching at a university: American students aren’t taught how to identify sources of online info and critically analyze the reliability of the info.
This is one reason so many people find it so easy to swallow whatever BS politicians feed them.
