We have family in Australia. We exchange screen shots of our weather apps. I send pictures of Ontario winter temps (-teens and twenties) and they send back Sydney summer temps (40s). Both parties exclaim the other one is nuts to live where they do. Although it gets that hot here in the summer too.

My FIL has had several cognitive exams. He’s had late stage dementia and lives in a nursing home.

Definitely a fair assumption.

Red One is a fun watch. Krampus steals the show.

Makes sense.

I did not know what was going to happen 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

Hahahahahaha. Definitely not in a FSD Tesla. But not in any other car either. I would have a heart attack on a road like this. I’ve been on my share of these kinds of roads during my adventure travel days and I’m done now.

Exactly. My mother didn’t raise a dummy.

Correct. The Mexican owners of a Mexican restaurant in a left leaning neighborhood in my Canadian city own a Tesla Cybertruck. It’s an interesting choice. Fortunately I can choose to eat elsewhere.

Likely. Or Guam/US protectorate if they want to claim Made In America 🙄

It’s a Mexican restaurant….so ummm yeah. Granted I live in Canada (yes we have racism here and a fair bit of it but no ICE). Still. Not sure how they could buy any Tesla product given the views of the owner. And it’s in a very left leaning neighbourhood. Lots of other Mexican places to choose from.

There’s a new restaurant that opened close to my daughter’s dojo. I was all set to try it out until I saw the owners drive a cybertruck. Nope. If they’re dumb enough to pay that kind of $$ for a useless truck, I don’t trust them to know how to keep a safe kitchen.

My beloved Mazda 3 died this past April. It was 18 years old. I am still bereft.

Seeing him out in the wild, with his name on everything always reminds me of my FIL who has to have his name on everything. Because he’s in late stage dementia.

I stopped in at the grocery store after an appointment today $17.32 for a celery, a large tub of (higher end) yogurt for me, a bag of lemons and blueberries (for the child), and a Kit Kat as a reward for said child wearing her Invisalign consistently for a month. All but the celery on sale. Eeesh.

You’re a better human than me. I get migraines if I don’t have it.

It could be worse I suppose, I could have triplets! Then I’d have to take out a second mortgage lol.

I live toast anyway I can get it. Lately I’ve been having toast with cream cheese and blueberry and basil jam (from a company in BC I think) for breakfast. So. Freaking. Delicious.

I’m not overly active but am married to a meatavore 🙄. And I have an 11 year old who is eating me out of house and home. Coffee beans are now $30 a bag on average. And we entertain frequently. First world problems for sure. Add “shrinkflation” to the mix and it’s all just UGH.

I WISH I could spend $300 a month on food. I shop almost exclusively at Food Basics and Costco and easily spend $150/week at FB. And that’s without meat. And Costco is a $300/trip spend, including meat. There are 3 people in my family.

And once again it’s raining in southern Ontario 🙄

It really is. Over half my shopping will be done at small local stores. I’m so lucky to have great ones around me.

I was just on some indie book store and local small business owner websites doing a little pre-Christmas planning. I have some great stores near me and it’s no hardship to support them.

RSV is no joke. I had it two years ago and thought I was dying. It took 6 weeks to go away.
