So far the war on Iran has cost $9.4 billion.

That's $1 billion per day.

$41,666,667 per hour.

$11,574 per second.

Thousands of lives lost.

People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

Raskin: Based on what you know today, were Renee Good and Alex Pretti domestic terrorists?

Noem: What happened was an absolute tragedy.

Raskin: Were they domestic terrorists?

Noem: My condolences to their families

Reason #1,000,000 I want to GTFO the South:

A woman in TN, after having been admitted to the hospital for a Dr. approved hysterectomy, had an IV in and was in Pre-Op, was told that her procedure was cancelled because the ethics committee decided it was their duty to "Protect her Sacred Fertility".

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that there are still people in this country that don't see what's wrong with what is happening, and that they *still* support this regime taking authoritarian control of the "Land of the free"
We all saw it coming. Project 2025 had it all laid out.

We're in the "again" part of "Never again", and somehow the "Never" part got overlooked.
I am so sickened by the current state of the US, and George Takei's statement hits hard.
It wasn't even one man's lifetime ago that we had concentration camps, and here we are again?
Is America great yet?
No.

Brown words on a yellow background reads: "Not enough people are asking the question: If deportations are the goal, why are we building prison camps?"

It has never been about immigration.

Your state issued ID isn't enough to prove citizenship with this act, AND your name has to match the name on your birth certificate, so if you're married or ever had a name change, it's going to be infinitely more difficult to acquire.

Let's also hope they they don't discriminate if you're trans.

The SAVE Act Bills: What to Know and What You Can Do Some in Congress are renewing their push for legislation that would block millions of eligible Americans from participating in our elections.

Encourage your representatives to vote NO on the SAVE act. Protect voter's rights, protect the rights of women, minorities, and people who cannot afford to get a passport to register to vote.

Khanna: There were two rounds of redactions. There was the original FBI redactions… and they did a second round of redactions at the DOJ. What they’re showing members now is the unredacted version of the DOJ’s redactions—not the original FBI redactions. They’re in blatant violation of the law.

Human bodies are so weird, and so interconnected. Mental health and physical health are so closely tied together that sometimes I don't know which one is out of whack.

Puerto Rico became a U.S. territory after the Spanish-American War in 1898.
People born in Puerto Rico are US Citizens.
Why is this so hard to recognize? You can't "deport" a Puerto Rican, they're US Citizens by birth, same as the people calling them "illegals".
Dude, read a history book.

Advice from 4 years of trauma therapy:
Regulating our nervous system helps us to find balance, calm, and sanity when our world feels overwhelming and unbalanced.

One of my favorite ways to find a small sense of regulation is Box Breathing

In for 4,
hold for 4,
out for 4,
hold for 4.
repeat 3x

Don't forget to take breaks from the news and current state of the dumpster fire we live in to do some self care! Burnout is real, and hyper vigilance can lead to it really quick!
A few ideas :
-Get up, stretch, and move your body!
-Take a hot bath
-Listen to music you love
-Hug your dog
-Sing
