Here we are, Laura and I turn(ed) 50 this year. We’re celebrating by watching the sunset over the beach at Hotel del Coronado off the San Diego coast. It’s the hotel that’s featured in the movie “Some Like It Hot!”
On Thursday, March 13, an ensemble of Atlanta’s finest players are gathering at the Earl to pay homage to the music heard throughout director David Lynch’s films.

We had a great time watching “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” tonight at the Tara. I saw it with different eyes this time, and I did not anticipate that. I’ve seen it too many times to count over the last 33(!) years, and it’s more powerful, intense, heartbreaking, intriguing, and moving than ever.

Every spring we have one tiny crocus that appears in the same spot in our yard, next to the driveway. I came home today and here it is. The bloom that you see here is maybe the size of a quarter.
