I worked in my front garden for about 3 hours this afternoon. Afterwards I sat down on the sofa and woke up a couple of hours later. I didn’t even have dinner! So here I am at 4 am, thinking going to bed would be a good idea.
Very powerful and gut-wrenching.
“The Three Greyhounds Pub.” I love it! It’s so civilized that UK folks can take their hound to the pub! Dog Gone Seattle, an adoption program, holds meet-and-greets at a pub with an outdoor seating area. Folks can have a beer and meet rescued dogs, who get fostered before adoption. Cool org!
5 hounds would mean you could keep a vet in business all by yourselves! I’ve never been to Tennessee. A dear friend grew up there and loved it.
…made possible in part by under-hiring, making it much harder to get an in-person appointment with one’s doctor. Kaiser sends mailings extolling the wonders of “provider visits online.” Maybe I’m just old fashioned, but I want to be seen in-person. The earliest I can see my dr. is in early May.
I haven’t seen many photos of the Olympia march, though I heard it was one of this city’s all-time biggest protests.
The overhead video I saw of them leading the Nashville march is just wonderful.

I used to use a tax preparer who would ask me, “What would Tammy Baker do?” Funny fact: He was also a tax resister.
I stood outside today at the No Kings Protest in the cold (24degrees) with huge crowds of people for 4 hours and livestreamed on my Substack. I was so encouraged and energized!!! I am so proud to be in Massachusetts!

Such a lovely picture of #Olympia, the Washington State Capitol building surrounded by flowering cherry (Sakura) trees.
Woo hoo!
I love seeing the PNW turn out today. Pictures of the huge protests make my heart soar!
Fabulous
The trains were on strike that year.
Cool! I must have blended you with Katy inadvertently. Sorry! I spent school year in PA when I was 30, at Pendle Hill, a Quaker school/retreat center in Media. It was kind of culture shock for a west coaster.
I betcha one of his staffers prepped that placemat with a lightly drawn pencil outline and the stats.
That’s a lot of dogs! Where did you live before London?
Yay!
Boston was #NoKings before it was cool.
I know, let’s spend the day arguing about crowd size. 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Yes!
Fabulous!
It’s SUNNY today! A great day for marching…No Kings!
Good morning, friends! Just imagine the big fields all abloom with tulips!
Except to my pride!😆
