I started making pizza at home during the pandemic and have slowly improved it to the point that I'm frequently asked to make it. It's now known by my family as Pandemic Pizza.

I have held a license on the Road and MTB for nearly 40 years and ride many SoCal trails. The biggest issue I see with them is that they often don't often fit into the normal predictability of traditional trail use. Fast on ascents, passing etc. I was hit by one while pedaling uphill recently.

I can smell the trapped dust, mold and spilled coffee in the fabric of the walls from here. Please excuse me while I try to forget the hell that was a former life spent in such places.

Had a buddy that lived there in the 80s. He was a poor UCR student. I never visited him there and would only pick him up in the daylight. The cheap apartments were originally full of enlisted single guys serving at March.

In my brush with VC firms and executive tech I saw dozens of these types. Usually privileged lives with good schools, an air of superiority and the failure to see any faults in themselves. I fired a few and yes they usually just failed up afterwards.

Warning stereotyping ahead! All the kids I see with these in my neighborhood have Dads with raised pickups, ATVs, motorcycles and any other possible gas powered noise creating bro machine squeezed into the garage and side yard. Most of them also have a trailer to haul them on weekends.

Ioniq5 is the best car I’ve ever owned. Home charging in California during the day virtually guarantees I’m using renewables. Have an off grid solar setup of used parts that cost me $600 that gets me 35 miles a day of range for $0. No brainer. Of course for most trips I use an e- cargo bike.

I have literally watched something like 5 hours of this DOGE bro testimony. I'm completely obsessed, it's weirdly captivating. The circular arguments, the disdain from everyone involved, a true pleasure to watch

In College I took a Grad level ergonomics course. One big takeaway was how important tactile feedback and touch were. They allow control and feedback without visual cues which is critical when your eyes need to be elsewhere. The prof had designed for the automotive industry very much pre touchscreen

Given that drapery has been elevated in importance to be mentioned above war I think we need a new Cabinet position called Secretary of The Interior Decorating.

I think one good fairly affordable start to keep them out of traditional trail networks used by hikers and "normal" cyclists would be to place trailhead barriers at entrances. Make them lift that 200+ pounds up and over a 1+ foot high beam and through a tight chicane entrance.
