My next comic project will use high-contrast inked artwork, so I've turned my life drawing sets into art tests by converting photoref into "stark B&W" images (via CSP's Binarization) as the basis for sketches inked with Zebra brush-pens. I'm not yet satisfied with the results, but will keep trying!

Had a great time at @emeraldcitycon.bsky.social, and will definitely explore further con appearances in 2027. Too late to line up much else in 2026, though, as Artist Alleys at upcoming East Coast shows like @heroescon.bsky.social & @terrificon.bsky.social are already booked up. Maybe next year...?
