In case you're not yet familiar, the Planning Tool in the Maths Hub (funded by the Aus government and had some great brains working on it) lets you search topics according to year level and has teaching tips and links to new and existing activities www.mathematicshub.edu.au/planning-tool/
@davidkbutler.bsky.social has created a lovely game called Digit Disguises which practises algebraic and other mathematical thinking. He explains it and we play an example game at 35:30 into this podcast interview & there are links to more about the game in the description youtu.be/6XzDuPYSJ18?...
The Solve Me Mobile Puzzles are great for exercising both multiplicative and algebraic thinking. I use these in maths coaching with Year 6+ students. We do about 10 in each session as warm up or warm down. When you input an error the Mobile goes out of balance, see pic solveme.edc.org/mobiles

A special treat to learn from @nomadpenguin.bsky.social on the topic of mathematics & creativity.
We had a longer conversation which will come out later. For now, with #IDM2025 #IDM314 coming up on Fri, I hope you enjoy this excerpt.
