This year, I wrote a poem to honor our living legend, Stevie Wonder, for our annual showcase. His baby girl is culminating in a week and we wanted him to feel our love. The greatest honor was to have him experience this moment in person.

I was off Wed for appointments, and I received this interesting email from my student. This is one of the reasons why I teach my fifth graders how to email their teacher. I love that she can included herself in the list of students who were doing the work today! And that is highly likely.🤣🤣
