It’s not hindsight. I was incredulous, as were many. Here are some of my posts from Feb/March 2025. The fact that Farage supported him should have raised red flags everywhere.

But yeah, while I understand that quite a few people did rather like the social isolation aspects of Covid, I found it to be absolutely horrible and I basically just disassociated for a year and change. Also I don’t like to think about the damage it did to my career at a pretty pivotal time too much

I went and watched the segment on iPlayer. This is absolutely wild. It’s basically doing a free micro political broadcast for Reform during BBC Breakfast.

I’m just going to use this dirty sewer water to wash your wound madam. I’m well aware we have sterile water back at the hospital and that contaminated water will give you an infection requiring an amputation later, but I’m a pragmatist and the ditch is right here.

*Everything after the Sesame oil is optional* plus seasoning. You can use prawns too. Traditionally you fry the peanuts with the Ikan Bilis. Then you put a fried egg on top. Too much work for me- I just add more eggs to the mix. The finely sliced greens of the spring onions are scattered on top.

Add the rice. Ensure it’s well coated with the egg. Fry. Add back the veg & aromatics & chicken. Mix some dark soy, light soy & sesame oil + (optional) Katstup Manis, bit of belachan paste, Maggi seasoning. Add to egg fried rice, coat & cook briefly. Serve with cucumber, Ikan Bilis fried w peanuts

2/ Fry the aromatics for a few minutes, remove & set aside. Then briefly fry veg in the order of time needed for cooking- the shallots, carrots next, whites of spring onions & peas/sweetcorn. Remove & set aside. Mix the eggs and add to the hot, empty pan- you may need more oil.

1/ Sure. For my odd method, you need leftover rice, at least a day old, & eggs. At least 3. The aromatics are chilli, garlic & ginger- do you still have the grater? Veg, whatever you have. I had shallots, carrot and spring onions. I also used cooked chicken Use any bland oil not Olive.

OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.

Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.
