Anyone who knows me knows I want Spock knocked up, and I want Pike to be the reason why. I knew at this point I wanted to do something like a maternity shoot, based on some headcanons that I share with a friend, so I looked at a ton of examples for poses, outfit ideas, backgrounds ideas... I had a hard time settling on just one, so ultimately I ended up adding two extra photos for the shoot." Three versions of Space's art (a very pregnant Spock in a photo with Christopher Pike. "It took me some time to feel confident that I was capturing Pike the way I wanted to. Spock as well to be honest. I ended up keeping all of these poses, only reworking them again and again and again over the few months I worked on this. My style changed a bit and there was a point where I had finally studied Pike enough that I ended up trashing my main picture and redrew it..." Two images are featured on this page of Space's art. "In the end this is what I settled with and I’m so glad I did. I was able to complete a majority of the work in a very short amount of time just because I felt more confident with the new sketch and I ended up loving it a whole lot more than I originally did when I started it. Adding stirrups to the standard TOS med bed ended up being more challenging than I thought, but ultimately I kept it simple. McCoy’s dialogue was a last minute addition to balance the piece and add more context, so it wasn’t part of this original sketch! From start to finish, the entire piece took 8 hours and 19 minutes."

Nearly the entire department has been let go, with only a skeleton crew of full time production staff remaining in place to coordinate the hiring of resources on a per-project basis. Reports and social media posts discussing the layoffs began circulating on public and private channels mid-day Tuesday. Sources familiar with the layoffs say this was largely due to the previously-announced reduction in the Marvel Studios production slate, along with the general cost-cutting and workforce reductions announced by Disney. It does not appear that these specific jobs were eliminated for reasons involving AI, which has been a driver behind other shakeups in the creative industries.
