From callback hell → via Promise hell → to async/await hell… yes, we got better, but we stay in hell 😬

… and even if you would return the promise, hope that the callers of the outer function mind the requisite await, or .then() -> 111.27 bucks they don’t ;)

Better, but no cigar… problem ist the inner call of an async function from a non-async one without returning the promise. => Detached continuation

If I’m not mistaken I’m afraid you’d never see the errors thrown from these lines if anything down in the called modules break, would you?
