This ADAPT OR DIE mentality is AI brain rot. Success in the future is being able to do what AI can't, or being able to do it better than AI ever could. Embracing it and letting it do the heavy lifting is defeatist mentality. And those artists will be the first to be replaced.

AI is profoundly unpopular. A recent NBC News poll found that among 18-34 year-olds, AI's net favorability rating is -44. *Negative 44*. Those are basically serial killer numbers. It's not much better among women 18-49. (Men over 50 and upper class are the only ones who like AI, and just barely.)

I think the fields you mentioned could help in understanding the significance of the object, while philosophy and the philosophers I mentioned would help in understanding how and why such an object comes to exist, as well as the world in which such an object could exist...

Every couple of years some Analytic writes some version of this "Continental philosophy is incoherent!" blog post and it always brings about the same "I get it!" "Then explain it to me!" discourse. Let's all agree that one group is Sexy Murder Poets and the other is Basically Pleasant Bureaucrats...
