Hey, the .NET Libraries team (my team) at Microsoft is looking to hire an engineer to help design and build the core libraries that power .NET. This is about performance, AI integration, and developer experience.

Holy cr*p, I never had so much fun learning before #GitHubCopilotCLI. I no longer have to start with tutorials and docs that end up confusing me with either too much or not enough detail. Instead I just fire up the CLI and ask it to create a custom tutorial and demo with exactly what I want.
Hey friends, our team is #hiring Principal and Senior Technical Program Managers across multiple roles.

Some of you know part of my day job at Microsoft is furthering the @armdeveloper.bsky.social ecosystem and I'm privileged to be able to do more of that as an Arm ambassador.
Can I be both humbled and proud at once? Thanks, Arm!
Interested in working in .NET Tooling? My team is hiring for a few roles. This is a great to impact the .NET ecosystem, work with devs all across Microsoft and help drive the .NET platform forward.

Acknowledged as an issue with the Windows patch for October. There’s mitigations listed here and a fix is being worked on.

SSMS 22 brings support for #WindowsOnArm. A lot of developers have been eagerly looking forward to this day.
Very exciting news for the #WindowsOnArm ecosystem
.NET STS releases are now supported for 2 years instead of 18 months starting with .NET 9 (the current STS). STS releases now go out-of-support on the same day as the previous LTS release. Upgrading to an STS release will no longer cause you to lose support!

Tagging a couple of other interested folks to pass the message along - @scott.hanselman.com @clintrutkas.bsky.social
@RickStrahl - probably old news for you but thought I'd share just in case - SQL Server 2025 CTP removes the installer block on Arm. Download the x64 and choose the basic install, it will install the x64 version without frills. This runs fine under emulation.

My favorite was when a customer came by our booth with a query about something and I was able to tell them yes, what they needed was available, and here’s a blog post on that very subject.
My kids had a favorite moment too - when I bought the bag of swag home and they got to pick.
Pictures from #MSBuild. The first one is with Arm Ambassadors @sinclairinat0r.com and Richard Omenyo, the second is with Jon Berry on CoreOS and Chris Lewis on App Assure and @sinclairinat0r.com.
#MSBuild was a blast, talking to developers about #Windows on #Arm and hearing their stories first hand never gets old. Also enjoyed co-presenting the session on Tips and Tricks to enhance Windows Arm64 performance.

Do tell us your colleagues’ and your solid plan to make that happen?
Very true, the year or longer gaps make it hard to even remember why I liked the show in the first place and the vibe is gone.
Yeah I dumped the other site.
