Rook is also just straight up Type 2 fun, nothing like scavenging off of a fresh firefight between two teams and then extracting in the last few seconds on your own. So good!

Omg and Rook! The concept of having a character built on solo survival, with barebones starting equipment, spawning in halfway through a game and having to be a sneaky little vulture is so fun. It's surprisingly not anxiety inducing because you can't actually lose anything if you die.

Somehow it just maximizes incentive at every level for teamwork. Randoms will help you do your mission objectives, because they are also rewarded for doing so.

The effective lack of permadeath as long as one player in a squad is alive makes the game feel engaging until the last second.
