The Last Woman Who Knew Everything: The Omnivorous Mind of Clémence Royer. When Clémence Royer died on February 7, 1902, she took with her into oblivion perhaps the last human brain that believed in and aimed for Complete Knowledge. She had devoted her life to the propositio...

French polymath Clémence Royer was born 196 years ago today. Now she is most known for her 1862 translation of On the Origin of Species which pushed Darwin's ideas into the realm of human evolution, but in her day she was celebrated for her encyclopedic knowledge.

Control of economic policy. At this point I'll just say Keynes and leave it.

The UK is letting the US use UK military bases in its war on Iran – without parliamentary approval. The UK must uphold international law and end its support for this illegal war.

Well please let me see an actual debate because all I see from the other side is basically ignoring him ad irrelevant. Ed do not get caught up in this. There is a power play at work here.

I have told Meadway he needs to publicly debate those he is denigrating. Let's see if he fancies it! He's already denigrated two senior academics.

You Sir need a public debate. I think you are happy slagging others off, so its time to defend your ideas in a public forum.

Premature ffs?

Meadway is dangerous and arrogant.

The fact that more than a few MMT people are senior academics or practitioners should give you a pause for thought. I think they are very aware of historical economics. BTW Murphy is not an ardent MMT adherence. You are swallowing the bait.

Greens ‘have welcomed’ people expelled by Labour for antisemitism, Steve Reed claims Housing secretary also targets Reform as May elections loom, saying Farage more interested in Trump than own constituency

www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
The biggest twat in Labour Together, ardent Zionist, Palestinian biscuits made his family feel ill, and the architect of the smear campaign that did for Corbyn. Vicious, vile, destroyer of democracy.

Mr Meadway is intolerant IMO and I'd love to see him F2F with Keen.

It's a description.

You may well have. How an instrument of policy can be a dead end goes by me I'm afraid, and the fact there are those who disagree with you clearly goes by you.

I happen to read where Murphy addresses this and his disagreement with the Mitchell type MMT. Meadway is a dangerous person IMO, this dogmatic and egoistic approach worries me. Greens beware!

I agree there. However I think they'll win a lot of council seats I'm May, given the money they're pumping in illegally

Depends on why this has arisen. I am aware that some have entered the Party and assumed positions of influence eg Verdant. The attack on MMT is curious, shall we say.

Exactly Rick!

Greens are against profit producing companies siphoning off money from this country. Its that simple.

I have directed the comment and article to Richard Murphy, hilariously more qualified than me, or Meadway

Could be, though not every false flag is MOSSAD. I suspect a lot is closer to home.

Think many would differ with you. Just who of the MMT people do you differ with and why?

2 days ago 0 0 1 0

How daring are you? 🤣

PPS Keen and Murphy deal with this well.

It contextualises. It also avoids the 'its all antisemitism ' trope, it isn't. And a lot of attacks, I suspect are by far righters.
