Lately I’ve been watching Jojos Bizarre Adventure and playing all the Monster Hunter Stories games. I beat 1 and I’m on 2 now. I’m on season 5 of Jojo. Haven’t written more of book 2 in a bit due to Paternity.

Yeah it stinks because I used animate for frame by frame previz for work, let alone my own full on 2D animations for decades. After Effects isnt even playing the same sport let alone in the same ballpark as Flash haha. Im hoping theres some Blender-likes out there to replace it.

So I decided to take a stab at designing my own logo for my next book (money is tight, and as much as Id love to work with my freelancers again, some areas I need to tighten my spending) but honestly, I kinda love this haha. Reminiscent of "Oh F*ck! Dinosaurs!" but very much its own thing.

Good Morning! #WriterShareWednesday I'm currently 13 Chapters into my outline for "Oh Sh*t! Bugs!", Ive also started drawing the monsters from it so I am consistent when I describe them. I've also started the process of a 2nd Edition Cover for "Oh F*ck! Dinosaurs!"

Its funny because the first cover Trevor made based on a drawing I provided him and wanted to see his take on it, the second edition is that original drawing but now using notes from Trevor's version, like the color scheme and opening the doorway a little more. In the end we made a funny scary baby!

Been a bit! Im making a new cover for Oh F*ck! Dinosaurs, one that now includes some reviews on the back cover and has my artwork on the front. Figured the @slimyswampghost.bsky.social versions could be first edition specials, so get them while you can! But my art is pretty cool too ya know.

I like imagining if there were any T Rex Paleontologists theyd be able to dig up Stegosaurus fossils.
