It’s a southern thing 😘😘. But not so much in a business environment. First contact is by shaking hands. Between men and between men and women. The kissing comes after the first contact, for the latter. Between men, it evolves to adding loud slaps on the shoulder/ hugs

My parents kept some of those things for us, specially me, the youngest. It was quite heartwarming finding all those things when the time came 😢. Childhood books, the walkman, cassetes and records. Xmas decorations. Kept a box or two, not much. They can move with me, if needed.

Small companies and public entities still own them and use them. At least in Portugal. Older people have low digital skills. Fax means paper based work, easier to manage for them. And i think Hospitals keep them as back up, which means the logistics around them also need it
