Ah I see! I’ll check out the insta post, thanks!
The answer isn’t below, nor is there a link to the answer? 🤔
10 days to go until the London Marathon 2026! There’s still plenty of time to donate to my fundraiser for London Air Ambulance. Any support, big or small, would be hugely appreciated 😬
The coffee is 👌🏻
Today I received a thank you card from a patient I looked after a few weeks ago. Some very kind words, you’ve made my week - thank you.

I’m not American..
This should say “American medical schools.” The rest of the world will still recognise and address health inequalities.
Cynical, next.
Northern lights
The last few days have been surreally good. Gained an EM training number, skied Finlands biggest mountain, and saw the northern lights. All with a healthy dose of sauna. Best birthday ever?
First outdoors trip of the year. Rifling through the rack just before the crux on 'Tody's Wall'
Well, we were all thinking it…
Morning
In other news, another shameless plug for my fundraiser for London Air Ambulance! I'm running the London Marathon in a few weeks time, and would love your support for such a crucial charity. #ambulance #London #airambulance #HEMS #fundraising fundraising.londonsairambulance.org.uk/fundraisers/...
Feeling a bit shell-shocked (in the best way!) Thrilled to see our magnetic resonance spectroscopy work on metabolic changes during delirium get a shoutout in @age-and-ageing.bsky.social Editor’s view today. This is early work, and requires confirmation, but may provide a therapeutic target.
What a short sighted, and foolish, stance to take
I’ve found out the terrible news this evening that an incredibly kind man, and old boss of mine, has died. This is a huge loss to the London and wider U.K. climbing community. He will surely be sorely missed. Rest in peace Tom H.

Yes, I guess you’re right - religion is the same as other mechanisms of social control.
Christianity, like all religions, has been used as an argument for violence and social control for centuries.
It’s just over 60 days until the @londonmarathon.bsky.social. I’m raising money for the London Air Ambulance and you can track my training and donate to this extremely important cause here: fundraising.londonsairambulance.org.uk/fundraisers/...
Conversations around parental reluctance for vaccination can be really challenging. Often driven by unfamiliarity with the complications of infections which are routinely vaccinated against. It’s not just about presenting evidence, it’s about discussing openly discussing concerns and misinformation.
#Delirium! A common presentation in the #emergencydepartment, associated with significant morbidity and mortality. We demonstrate elevated cerebral glutamate concentration in elderly patients with delirium compared to age matched controls. A possible therapeutic target? doi.org/10.1093/agei...
Someone has just sent me an incredible short literature review on research I’m currently writing up. Unfortunately they did it all via ChatGPT and entirely hallucinated most of the studies.
From ED point of view. Despite not undergoing 'surgical' procedures some of these patients had significant infections and requiring admission and surgical management so we should be mindful of this when reviewing these patients.
Important topic! Patients returning from overseas for cosmetic surgical procedures and experiencing significant complications. This cohort included patients requiring admission and surgical interventions. Clear need for public education & regulation. www.clinicalkey.com#!/content/1-...
Of course he is, there is of course absolutely he or his family will be eating it however. Just like how his family members have EU passports…
