I use social media with the attention-crazed dopesickness of an addict, not the care and forethought of a professional, as any cursory read of my posts will confirm. I'm a writer by trade — a creative, as you might say — and here you are, running a business you don't even understand into the ground, deskilling my trade and expecting a thank you when you explain how you're doing it. If I don't devalue myself the way you continually devalue me, you warn, I'll be left behind. Okay, says I! Quit making it my problem and go! oh yeah, just, non-bus transit in my city has no gates/tap-on, so it's basically the same (as long as you have an active ticket ofc)

maybe instead of having to deal with all the overhead involved in handling fares we just charge everyone a flat fee for public transport instead. possibly through some kind of "taxes"

this is 50% of the reason i buy a season ticket (even though i barely travel enough to save money that way)
the other 50% is being zero-stress about, y'know, going places in general

had a moment the other day where I was watching some slop YT gaming content and then the guy goes "so I asked ChatGPT how to unlock [thing in extremely well known video game]"

and I paused the video and just stared for a bit. Why do that. Why ruin this perfectly garbage video by admitting that.

I find it very sad that there are somehow still people out there who are morally opposed to emulating games.

I'm sure the developers who won't see any of the hundreds you would potentially pay for for a preowned retro game would rather you just play their work by whatever means necessary.
