I like a little realism in my writings
I'm up late and researching intersections of Cardiff city bus routes...
How's your weekend going?
I'm reading aloud H.G. Wells classic 'The Time Machine' right now on YouTube. This is a charity stream for the folks at St. Jude Children's Research hospital.

I’m getting things warmed up for a special live stream today
No code
Folks like to listen to me talk, so I will be reading a science fiction classic
Today, I’ll be reading The Time Machine.
Cooking With Heat on a Wednesday has delivered unto us: yakisoba.
Inspired by watching Midnight Diner!
I have a viewer map on my live streams that maps the location you share in chat. Today my moderators decided to start playing with re-locating some viewers and drawing pictures.

There's a blog out that documents all of the strange interactions from my chatbot during our live streams over the last month.
The bot has been glitching and misbehaving... something more is going on here

I'm updating the aspireify.NET website today using Squad, and you can help out!

It’s ridiculous how much better the LLMs are after the typical American work hours
I added performance benchmarks to my BlazorWebFormsComponents to show what a performance improvement it is to migrate from WebForms to Blazor
Initial reports show a 2x - 4x performance improvement before any tuning.. JUST doing the migration on some simple demo apps
More research is coming
This REALLY annoys me because I bailed out on building KlipTok because of the features and push they had into the clip space starting in 2024. Finally, 2 years later they're going to deliver another feature
Building components for other developers is hard... and our Squad has made it easy. Let's get Gritty today and put together some reports, some samples, and show folks that #ASP.NET can be migrated to Blazor... and play a little Minecraft along the way

Ok Swedish friends… you’ve got some good acts of this year’s Eurovision
This is a tough choice
There’s some weird behavior of my chatbot on my live stream.. and it’s getting chronicled at fritzandfriends.github.io/signal-archi...
I’m re-watching the prequel to the Pitt this morning..
Yea? That’s one that I’m enjoy much more than that other show that started last week
Let's go! I've made MAJOR progress on our Blazor Components that help migrate older applications, and today I'm going to show you what we've done and how @GithubCopilot can help migrate your application
There's some other surprises today at twitch.tv/csharpfritz and youtube.com/csharpfritz
I used to review all of it... now I have them write unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests.
I test the apps it builds, and if needed, I review some code
We've definitely entered a space where I don't review all of the code
In my measurements and what I've shown on stream, they do not.
Right.. the Squad kicks off tasks for each 'child agent' in the Squad.
You submit 1 request to the top-level 'Squad Agent' and it delegates tasks to the specialized squad members. Each gets its own context window
I have 6 projects each with their own squad working on them.
There's a squad working on Blazor components, another is working on Minecraft integrations with Aspire.
... and I'm watching them in multi-tab Windows Terminal
The Squad is created as a series of markdown docs in your repository. Everyone who works with that repository will get the same characters, the same memories of the Squad members
Let me show you how the Aspire-Minecraft interaction works:

In 1993, a 12-year-old rebooted a dinosaur park with a visual interface.
In 2026, I'm managing Minecraft servers with .NET Aspire's dashboard.
Same energy.

I'm enjoying lunch, reviewing Copilot Squad commits, and watching the Serbia Eurovision finals
Who do we like? There's a few acts here that could make left-side in May at the finals.
I've added a 'hacker / security officer' to my #Squad that's building a website so that I can get some insight and fixes before I deploy something and I'm missing CSP or CORS settings
... and no beans were required
