Cautious - looks like this section is yhe A303 dual carriageway! VERY Fast stretch of dual carriageway - suggest a detour - look at the picture - you will see a side road (safer) route 🚴👍🏼

If that’s the route & climb out of Portsmouth straight past the hospital… Southwick Hill rd we have that bang on the back of 260miles of riding

Shakedown ride this weekend prior to tour with the larger Nelson saddle bag fitted Hoping to fit all the gear I need in the Saddle bag / with electrics in the top tube bag and arm / leg warmers in the canister bag … for access … I also have a bar pod bag that will have my rolled up water proof jacket which also acts as a windproof jacket for late evening riding

With the need for ‘non cycling clothes’ for a meal on a Saturday night
My Carridice super c saddle bag simply isn’t big enough -
So using the Nelson longflap in closed position

Yeap - second metric tonne on the Tempest this weekend - already cleared 400 km on it since 25th March … need to use the other Ti next weekend otherwise it will feel neglected 🤪

Isn’t the frame a racing frame geometry… hence the mudguards fitment issue
For the front - ever thought of a splash guard that fits to the down tube as opposed to connecting to the front forks ??
Then use the raceblade rear for the back ???
