Simon the Sorcerer: Origins complete on steamdeck. Great to hear Chris Barrie back and some nods to the original game, which is a sequel to this. Loved it all, only needed 3 hints, 2 of which I thought I'd already tried. Recommended for point & click adventure fans! #backlog2026

Absolutely gutted about Catherine O'Hara, honestly one of my all time favourites, so many amazing lines and deliveries over the years.
Taken me far too long, but finally I have my work standing desk with all the wiring hidden and a single power cable going tidily down a 3D Printed magnetic drag chain/cable spine - already feels better walking in and seeing it.
Fire escape is great, can't remember the name of it but there's a chicken one with fruit machine style buttons on it, I've been loving that when I'm bury way

Was just looking at trailers of Still Wakes the Deep thinking "that looks awesome" then remembered I'd sadly never be man enough to play it. Still not done Alien Isolation and a host of others I have.

...then there is steam deck and linux gaming?! Microsoft took their eye off the ball, they messed up Xbox by starving fans of physical releases because of game pass, now they're trying to catch-up with Valve on hardware. I can't see it not being game over for it all.
It's not really news and I know a lot more than many to give me a head start, but Microsoft and Windows are screwed. Installing Linux Mint on old, solid hardware, complete with howdy / win hello facial recognition... it's free, it just works and will do everything needed for most home users 🤷♂️

Even now 30+ years on, she just reminds me of the moment my ol' man picked up my issue of Kerrrang!! She had won "the quote of the week" as they called it. Hearing him repeat her words which were "I want a man who will let me pee in his belly button" will forever haunt me.
