"Yeah this is a reference to a relatively obscure show from 2010 that I've never met another fan of. Don't worry, I cross-referenced every time this episode appeared on TV and can tell you exactly when the character caught this part. I'm not an animal."

I'm pretty sure if I ever needed a diagnosis I could just show someone the 75+ footnotes in my ongoing project where I edited out a line because I described a pen making scratching sounds on the paper but then realized that the exact paper weight he was using wouldn't scratch like that.
He got fired before I could meet him. That may be for the best.
New guy at work is apparently in his final year of a Philosophy degree. Given my track record we are either going to be fast friends or I am going to literally kill him by the end of next week.
"It just really comes as a shock that such accomplished intellectuals, who’ve spent their entire careers pushing the upper bounds of human achievement, could be judgy about a machine that runs the entirety of human imagination through a shredder and glues together what comes out."
I'm actually writing again. I feel so alive.
After a full year of googling "2012 calendar" every time I needed to verify that dates lined up in this project and I wasn't referencing the wrong day of the week in dialogue, I have finally added a calendar to my Obsidian vault. Now to forget I have that every time I need it! \o/

I may never leave this bed but it will have been worth it. Remember me fondly.
Today’s advice from your Goth Auntie
-Stop slouching, drink some water, take your meds.
-Be free, cringe is dead. Enjoy things unironically.
-The Cursed Object asked if the standing mixer was also a ‘spinny ride’.

Today I woke up to someone upset that they put in a request, I don't take those, and I gently told them I could try when I had more time since it's a busy month but made no guarantees, and I only ranted to everyone who might listen, so I think you should be proud of me. 😤
The ovulation tracking app, "Ovia", now mandates you identify what state you live in. Delete immediately and warn anyone who might need to know.
An Obsidian vault graph view, which consists of a series of variously sized dots connected by lines to show links between notes. The bulk of the dots and lines form a heart shape, which is highlighted in yellow, and there are several clusters of dots branching off from the main heart.
Today's little joy from a very productive writing session: the graph for this project's obsidian vault has a heart in it because of all the love I put into the project. :)
Born to stay up until 3am writing because I just got to the REALLY REALLY FUN part of my outline (for me) forced to go to bed early so I can make it to work in the morning
It's #bandcamp friday! which means it's time to share my various music projects in the hopes they make some money!

How does anyone function on the first of the month. I'm fighting for my life over here.
Good news: I survived a 24 hour writing torch relay with one other participant and exactly no sleep, and got a lot done re: worldrebuilding, outlining, etc.
Bad news: I have to start the draft over because I got TOO much done in reconsidering worldbuilding.
kinda wild how many folks get this overwhelming feeling that they are not exceptional when everyone so obviously is. being incredible is what humans are BUILT for we come out of the box BENDING WORLDS. you are a wonder, the feeling that you are not is dead weight from deflated dreams of someone else
