@jamellebouie.net sorry can't respond to your post about the right and agency, so do it the long way around...
Anyway what makes you think that the libs or the centre or whatever you call them are on the left, seems unlikely especially if they're American

Is there a reason why this is happening and can we spread it elsewhere?
Not going to read it all, sorry I'm not in a good place and yeah we know that about the trains, that's part of the point. Feel free to summarise for me if you want if you think it's that important.

"Idolotory is for fools" )
Seems a bit like "Say what you like about Mussolini but he did make the trains run on time.” vibes to me
Here's an example @bsky.app so maybe embedded posts or links previews?
"tying the affordability crisis to the corruption of wealthy elites" that way America can get back to the old way of the wealthy elites fucking everyone or do people think that started with trump?
@bsky.app seeing a bunch of white rectangles where pictures? Should be, not all posts though, on Firefox browser
Not keen, didn't read it all, real and significant harm and deaths have happened because of trump and doge, to talk about the upside for a couple of countries like Pakistan seems blinkered. Maybe by the end @doctorow.pluralistic.net balances that out, but I couldn't continue. I'm not in a good place.
It's an absolute mistake IMHO to make the issue of social media and it's complete lack of regulation about age. Yes it's clearly radicalising whole swathes of people, mostly in bad ways, a few in good ways. This is being driven and not just in socials, see farage and money.
Why keep defending car co's who make EV. We all want EVs to replace ICE but why would anyone not realise that they're enshitifying vehicles just like everything else and it's the poor and disabled who'll get hurt most. Cars are becoming unrepairable by stealth.

So dry already this year, the allotment water butts are empty already. Surface of soil is bone dry , lack of rain and high winds. On the plus side the slugs are having a hard time.
Comic: Types of Board Game. [Each panel has a person, a person with a ponytail, a person with shoulder-length hair, and a person with a white hat seated around a table with different board game and pieces on top. (1) Boring: PERSON 3: Each turn, roll a die and move your token. Turns proceed clockwise around the table until we all get tired and go home. (2) Abstract: PERSON 1: Each turn, you can place any number of red triangles or blue squares on a hexagon, or move any hexagon to a... (3) Hyperspecific Theme: PERSON 2: It’s October 2, 1814. The Congress of Vienna convenes. You are each in charge of distributing and lighting candles for the opening ball, which was held at these three locations... (4) Overcomplicated: PERSON 4: It’s a cross between *Twilight Imperium* and *Cones of Dunshhire*, but implemented entirely in category theory. Every cone is a monad, and... (5) Cooperative: PERSON 3: We’re working together to sort these decks of cards using only hand gestures. After that, we’ll silently organize my junk drawer. (6) Branded: PERSON 1: You can play as Phoebe, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross, Joey, or, due to an ill-advised tie-in, Goku. (7) Party: PERSON 2: Each of the cards in your hand has a bad word on it. On the count of three, yell the... (8) Social Deduction: PERSON 3: Remember, per our *find the secret murderer* house rules from last week, discovering that a player has committed a real-life murder does *not* count.

I'm guessing it's a play on Random of the Random Access Memory, if you were doing that thing of jumping about working through all the points and what they mean?
And the people who are happy as long as there's a bunch of people at the bottom getting shat on in the economic equivalent of "first they came for..."
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz called for economic reform to address HIGH LABOR COSTS, energy prices, taxes, and SOCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS.
Merz looked at the billionaires ripping you off, and he decided your Wages, Pensions and Benefits were the problem.
Germany vote him OUT.
A robin who's apparently done something again, slightly weird grammar though with robbing
You seem to have completely forgotten what and why I asked at the start of this, IE how this will scale out to poorer people later, which no one in power and people like you care about. Any your blocked so fuck of and learn some empathy
No I am not, I am basing them around the way the companies that make shit behave, in particular in recent times. Alongside the swerve to making cars "fun" like a gadget. So stupid add-ons you don't need etc. also as people above have said they are only cheaper in the new/nearly new area.

They're not beliefs, they're based on hard personal experience, for sure I don't know much about EV as I've not had one or worked on them, I do not care what fleet people say as they're in the nearly new range. Again zero thoughts on cheaper models and poorer people as ever
The pandemic opened the eyes of many on what they can get away with without the libs and right complaining
Eight blue tit eggs in the bird box on a sunny day
Get an old ip camera or similar and make a bird box
Really don't like Lego now as it's produciyhuge amounts of effectively single use plastic, long gone are the days of generalised building blocks with the odd specific part and some ideas. Having a whole set of plastic reproductions of plants and animals is obscene
I'm not a great believer in the fun to drive, cars are a tool and a very dangerous one at that, I suffer daily from car drivers having fun on the road when I'm on my bike. And 3500 is out of my price range. This discussion reeks of privilege
Look I've not seen any research on the cost of maintaining newer cars so can't say, but what I can say is in every other sector they are making it harder to repair and making it more expensive, you must know that? I can't believe cars will be different. The computer tech is deliberately obfuscated
Most of the maintainence is in the running gear and that hasn't changed, apart from they've added more stupid tech that breaks and is supremely expensive to fix, eg heated wing mirrors etc. you know how it is they're focused on bleeding US aftermarket in all industries, right to repair...
I am aware of that but there is obviously a relationship between mpg and how burning of fuel is happy and then the pollutants. For sure a second CAT will have improved that, but that could have been retrofitted, because there was zero others changed to the ICE other than gaming the tests...
But you can see that the original post is all about business as usual with zero thought to how much harm that has done is doing and will continue to do. Anyway I'm probably not long for this world, so I'll leave it as I'm probably not going to help by ranting of here
Fundamentally wrong, you're just rebuilding the same systems that brought us to burning the planet down and someone like trump having control over the biggest weaponry the planet has ever known. We need to stop it. Just now a post crowing about how California is doing great and how clean it is lol
