#WDPCA: 312,790 #ProtectedAreas covering 245 countries and territories and 7,485 #OECMs covering 17 countries and territories.
GD-PAME: 764 IUCN World Heritage Outlook assessments were added for 125 countries.

The world has reached a key milestone: 10% of the ocean is now within protected & conserved areas.
This is vital for people & wildlife, helping to halt biodiversity loss and sustain communities.
But much more is needed. By 2030, the goal is 30%.
