Absolutely. One of the coolest weapons in film and also the biggest waste of a cool weapon in film.

Definitely. It was severely limited by what could be done in films at the time. Though it still looks great, I would be fine with someone taking a crack at a reimagining. As long as they swing for the fences and keep it wacky.
