Great to be in Croydon campaigning for @rowennadavis.bsky.social with the @cityhalllabour.bsky.social team. Rowenna is fighting for investment for Croydon and tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping. If you live in Croydon vote for her and Croydon Labour Council candidates in May.
Thanks for backing Croydon as always @sarahjonesmp.bsky.social 💪

Cllr. Ellily Ponnuthurai and I have been checking in on neighbours after the tragic fire at Duppas Hill Terrace. If you’d like to contact me directly, please do so at rowenna.davis@croydonlabour.org.uk.
So proud of Croydon today. Our unity keeps us safe.

Croydon’s Conservative Mayor Perry has raised Council Tax by £600 a year for the average household. The consequences in a cost of living crisis are unforgivable.
A 33% council tax hike during a cost of living crisis.
Tell Croydon’s Conservative Mayor: we can’t afford this.

Happy to back our Labour friends in #Croydon and their inspiring vision of Putting #PeopleFirst.
@rowennadavis.bsky.social will make an excellent Mayor. Also great to be joined by @sadiqkhanlondon.bsky.social and Ed Miliband.
Exciting times ahead for the borough I first called home 🌹 #VoteLabour
Like a garden from the ashes…
I was gutted to see Broad Green library close & the books thrown to the floor, but the Asian Resource Centre of Croydon are building something beautiful here. Well done to everyone involved.

We HAVE to get our town centre back. Thanks for reporting @insidecroydon.bsky.social

Today, we remember the six million Jewish people murdered in the holocaust alongside the millions of other victims of Nazi persecution.
We must challenge prejudice and stand united against hatred.
Great to be out with @rowennadavis.bsky.social this morning, our hardworking candidate to be Mayor of Croydon. Then I joined the dedicated Sutton Labour team for a session this afternoon ahead of the vital elections this May.
Great to see our report shared by HopeWorks.
As @rowennadavis.bsky.social puts it: town centres won’t bounce back when we tidy them up. They thrive when people have money to spend and reasons to show up.

Just in case you hadn't heard ...
Just met the Prime Minister in IKEA.
I raised our Town Centre and the Council’s debt problems.
He remembers Croydon in its glory days - if I become Mayor, we’ll work together to get it back.
Congratulations to all Croydon students receiving their results today! As a former teacher I know just how much effort, dedication, and pressure goes into this moment. Whatever’s next for you, be proud of what you’ve achieved.
Have you seen what happened at Broad Green Library? Unforgivable!
I'm surprised that you have greatly accomplished your targets so far! So many active events and! It's well-organised and festive, reflecting the respect you've earned and the appreciation from the community.
Under the Conservatives, over 130 youth centres shut across London. In Croydon, the Conservative Mayor has cut youth services while hiking council tax.
This week’s news of £88m for youth services from the Labour government is a much-needed step forward.

Stop! Hold everything! Look at these Croydon biscuits! 🍪 👀
All credit to our lovely volunteer Alison who makes them for our listening exercises! ♥️
Protect Forestdale. Change Croydon. Revolutionise the Council.
That was the message residents in Selsdon Vale and Forestdale sent in our community meeting today.
Great discussion - thanks to everyone for coming!
100 days of being your Labour candidate for Croydon Mayor! Some highlights -
- 70 meetings with community groups
- Over 100 meetings with local businesses
- 2 listening exercises in local communities
- Nearly 1,500 signatures on local petitions
This is just the beginning!🌹
Great to join @rowennadavis.bsky.social and @maddiehenson.bsky.social visiting some of our amazing local businesses in Addiscombe - pictured here with the brilliant Alfredo at Farrago Fish.
The real sense of community here is what keeps our local high street thriving.
Older residents need a better service from Croydon council - this is the sixth day with no lift service in Windmill Bridge House.
Mayor Perry pledged to fix the finances - and he’s failed.
Croydon’s Small Business Association has a plan to make us the happiest borough by 2030.
Their launch alone has me beaming. 😁 🚀
