So the day before my birthday I got a call telling me I got a job.
Like not just a job, but a part time position doing something I might be good at that my disabilities shouldn't impact at all. My writib might be slower but lets be honest Im already slow.

Running thoughts on Castlevania games I have been playing on my 3DS under my girlfriend reccommendation a thread 🧵:

The DSS system was fun, and I might wanna try a magician mode run, or just replaying with the Card Mode hack or one that increases drop rates. I liked the item crash DSS combo and the full screen summon. As well as the orbiting ice and fire orbs they were just crucial for adramelech

I didnt get brain juice and i didnt restar the fight on the zombie dragons. i think i beat it by healing in a corner repeatedly. I was just relieved at that point. Dracula was good though
I ended up doing a lot of cross spam but you know. Thats castlevania sometimes ya know

The bosses sometimes just felt frustratting. The zombie dragon was a pain.
I often reload a save when I feel like I've cheesed a boss. My girlfriend showed me an Arin Hanson clip about brain juice and, cheesinf or not getting it right just doesnt give the brain juice to move on to the next thing.

Since nothing is hidden outside of buffs its just a bit less fun to find new stuff. Instead you have to consult tables on a fan wiki because punching enemies in the face on repeat on the off chance one drops something good would suck. The bestiary in later releases would belp but i didnt have that

Despite being a metroudvania the gast speed at which you fall and the whipping makes me think of Rondo more than Symphony.
After finishing it I was a little less positive just on the level design being samey, with the roadblocks feeling the same way. The grinding is kinda unbearable as well.

Circle of The Moon. The music is the first massive standout for the game. It's really great, I like Awake a lot, it really get you pumped to beat the catacombs and explore the Castle.
My first impressions were really positive. I ran through with the always on dash hack, which made moving more fun

Which makes his death less impactful! Hes meant to be the main guy in the pilots corner. His death is meant to unite them!

When I watched the show I was surprised by how likeable and personable Ryu, like a glue that keeps the white base together, which makes his death so tragic.

This was surprising because i originally lost the movie

I think when they were making the movies they got feedback like "oh newtypes came out of nowhere and didnt feel developed" and instead of padding out the stuff at the end that made it feel abrupt around like Challia Bull and Lalah they hamfist dialgoue like this.

I liked Symphony, now that I know it a bit better I might have more fun on a second play through 100%ing it.

The music is amazing, the vibe is amaIng, the voice acting is hilarious. I dont know how you are meant to uncover the spells on your own. It feels like a game deaigned for a game guide or walk through. And idk how i feel about it. Sometimes when im digging for secrets it felt great other times eh.

I like Slogra and Gaibon though. They are fun. The exploration is fun, though a little harder to accomplish on a smaller screen since its harder to see where the doors are and a little frustrating when important things like where you are meant to go are completely hidden.
