Bandlamudi et al. analyze 50,000+ tumors across 64 cancer types from the MSK-50K cohort — identifying 164 novel hotspots, revealing tissue-dependent driver behaviour, and highlighting barriers to neoantigen-directed immunotherapy. We wrote a preview to put this work into context:
