Flight attendants will also finally be paid during boarding if this agreement is ratified.

ICE under Trump 2.0 built an unprecedented media operation - deploying videographers to raids, pumping out edgy social posts, swiping pop music for hype videos - and the main metric for evaluating its impact shows that Americans now hate ICE more than ever

there is no metric by which this is true. even 2028 primary polling (which is meaningless in general but seems like a fair yardstick here) doesn’t have him on top.

just a brazen attempt to impose him on us by the rich and the commentariat.

JUSTICE GORSUCH claims not to understand this statement, insisting
that I now must be applying the major-questions doctrine, and his own
version of it to boot. See ante, at 17 (concurring opinion) (“My concurring
colleagues all but endorse it today”); ante, at 2, 7, 18 (similar). Given
how strong his apparent desire for converts, see ante, at 2–26, I almost
regret to inform him that I am not one. But that is the fact of the matter.
I proceed in this case just as I did in West Virginia and Nebraska: I consider a delegation provision’s language, broaden the scope to take in the
statutory setting, and apply some common sense about how Congress
normally delegates. See West Virginia v. EPA, 597 U. S. 697, 756–766
(2022) (KAGAN, J., dissenting); Biden v. Nebraska, 600 U. S. 477, 534–
542 (2023) (KAGAN, J., dissenting). Contrary to JUSTICE GORSUCH’s suggestion, see ante, at 3–7, that conventional method of interpretation will
not always favor (or always disfavor) executive officials, given the variety
of delegation schemes Congress adopts. I’ll let JUSTICE GORSUCH relitigate on his own our old debates about other statutes, unrelated to the
one before us. What matters here is only that IEEPA’s delegation refutes
the Executive’s assertion of authority to levy tariffs, without any help
from the major-questions doctrine.

Gorsuch also tries to conscript Kagan to the major questions camp in his concurrence, prompting Kagan to write this very funny footnote saying she is not, in fact, a convert to his cause. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

In one fell swoop, the OCC—the regulator for national banks—just approved five (5) bank charter applications by crypto companies.

It is unfathomable that the USG lawyers would sign off on a no-survivors boat strike (no get of jail free card).

There's clear precedent dating back to World War II trial of Germans for that very act, which lawyers know well.

For sure some of the legacy media outlets are downplaying the protests because they’re aligned with Trump, but I think an even bigger factor is how many elite journalists have a patrician disdain for the idea that politics can happen in the streets and not just the CNN green room.
