Stunning day in my local woods. The Lesser spots were active all morning including at noon this amazing display of wing flicking, wryneck posturing plus an unfamiliar guttural call. @lesserspotnet

Distant adult American Golden Plover roosting on Flat Beach Rye Harbour this morning. Perhaps the Jury’s Gap bird which was last seen by myself on 8 October.

Juvenile Hobby complete with ring at ARC Dungeness today.
