I occasionally check on you here :)

I may post about some of the work I'm doing on the Firefox side, I've been a bit hesitant to post about it as today I literally reviewed "AI Killswitch" code, lol.

I guess the biggest benefit of writing your own, is that then the draw code is just your game code, and so you can handle custom behavior like animations and rendering effects.

I've been kind of unsatisfied with all of the auto-tiling systems I've interacted with, and so I decided to try my hand at one. I sprinted through all of the fun work, but now I actually need to write the tile solver, which seems kind of hard.

One of my biggest complaints on Rust is that it's hard to do UI work. This weekend I prototyped a little pixel art GUI system for an auto-tiling system. I mostly did it through agent prompting, but it seems to be working pretty well.

Hi, is this on? I was thinking about turning this into more ML/AI focused account, as that's what I'm working on these days, and Mastodon really hates the entire domain. I worked on translations for almost 3 years, now working on on-device inference. Any recommendations on who to follow here?

Earlier this week I implemented bezier curve interpolation along points of a path for a personal project. I'm trying to get some timeline layout figured out. The math for the timelines kind of sucks. I eventually figured it out here, and the interaction feels nice.

Firefox Translations Training Pipeline Overview
Firefox Translations Training Pipeline Overview YouTube video by Greg Tatum

Here's a talk on the architecture of our translations training pipeline and how we are scaling our training infrastructure to ship models, the architecture of how we train the models. Our models are shrunk down to be 17mb and run locally/privately on user's machines.

Intro: I created an account here to have a presence on BlueSky and see some old friends posts who are here. I'm mostly planning on being active on Mastodon, but I may reply to folks on here and interact a bit. We'll see.
