Canada Post delivers to 17.6 million addresses every day (business and residential). At 260 work days per year, that is 4.57 billion deliveries each year. Over eight years, that is 36 billion mail deliveries in 8 years.

Canada post delivered mail 36 billion times and it only cost $6.1 billion.

I feel like if there was a big conference claiming to be against hate, and their keynote speaker had been among the top influencers of the guy who did the largest faith-based massacre in Canada, and that massacre had targeted Jews, there'd rightfully be a huge uproar.

Publicly owned grocery stores are about more than affordability. They also can provide healthier options to under served communities abandoned by the corporate monopolies

Huge turnout for the #KidicalMassHFX Spring Social at the oval today. Lots of humans and a few raccones. It was really nice getting to see everyone. I think it's safe to say bike season has started

I remember my father reading the books to my younger siblings at bedtime then coming out to the living room and grumbling to the teens/adults about the quality of the writing.

Not having a favourite dinosaur is absolutely alien to me. Not only do I have a favourite dinosaur, but I also know the favourites of many of my friends and family.

And I don’t even care all that much about dinosaurs nor did I as a kid. I was way more of a space and unicorns kid!

Today, the Liberals rejected our NDP motion to ban surveillance pricing - a dystopian practice that will drive up costs for Canadians if we allow it to take root.

The NDP is the only party fighting to protect you from getting ripped off at the checkout.

Yeah I was relieved with the election results. I’ve been frustrated with most of his actions since then, but the relief was for good fucking reason.

If you’re an artist, sure. Or you work with vulnerable populations maybe? Maybe?? I think even that’s pushing it. I’d probably punch someone for saying that tbh.

This is so true. Store brand popsicles and fudgesicles are better than brand name fudge/popsicles. Ice cream and ice cream bars are another story though. And ice cream sandwiches are probably up to opinion but I strongly prefer store brand.

My in-laws have hardy kiwis that basically took over their deck. They require a lot of maintenance or they take over. Delicious though

For all my lapsed-Catholic baggage with the church, I was extremely impressed with how the conclave went and it gave me hope that we’re really actually going to win.
