Can we talk about the opaque, immovable, unavoidable left and right arrows when looking at pictures on this website? Am I being silly, or do you just not get to see what's underneath if you click on a picture? It's especially troublesome for images with words.

Honestly, I find it ridiculous that contributors like me, who only have accounts to receive royalties from someone else's publication, will also be assessed this fee.
And I know I spend well more than twelve bucks a year on dumber stuff, but it's really the principle of the thing.
It's not about the revenue itself, since it's a very small amount. It's just disappointing and frustrating that I have to decide, as a creator, that I can no longer benefit from something I helped make unless I pay for the privilege.
I contributed to an anthology about two years ago that's hosted on Draft2Digital, and now I'm disappointed that I'll have to forfeit the little earnings that trickle in from it. I'm not really in a position to scale up my presence on another platform, and it's not with the $12 to maintain.
In the meantime, I have a few ideas for an adorable charity jam by @whimsymachine.bsky.social :3

Oops, sat down to do some work and somehow fell down a hole precipitated by how much I loved Scavengers Reign and how much of a bummer it is that we won't get a season 2.
What I love about portfolio day is the overwhelming desire to abandon all projects and make a new game bespoke to an artist's portfolio... for pretty much every bloot I see.
I should add the disclaimer that this is NOT for a cat game.
